The Varied Paths of Communal Life

The 10th international conference of ICSA will celebrate 100th "birthday" of the first kibbutz community Degania and the 25th birthday of ICSA.

The conference  was held in The Emek Yezreel College which is situated in the Yezreel Valley, in the north of Israel, where you can find many of the first kibbutz communities and other communal life styles. It is also close to historical venues like Degania, Nazareth, Tiberias, Haifa and Acre. The organizers of the conference are the Institute for Research of the Kibbutz and the Cooperative Idea from the University of Haifa, and the Emek Yezreel College.
